Mark Christopher first discovered (and became obsessed with) improv comedy at the Comedy Warehouse while vacationing in Orlando, Florida. Upon returning to his home in the Northeast, he immediately looked up classes that may be offered in that area. Mark took every level of short form improv classes available with ComedySportz, America's longest running interactive improv theater. He expanded his horizons by taking multiple levels of longform and musical improv classes with improv training schools in New York City and Philadelphia. Other notable training has included specialized workshops with improv masters from the Annoyance Theater, the Magnet Theater, Second City, and UCB, including Susan Messing, Joe Bill, Mark Sutton, and Jill Bernard.
Mark never stopped seeking out opportunities to learn and grow while also performing and teaching short form, longform, and musical improv for 15 years with several improv theatres in Delaware, New York, and Pennsylvania. He has continued performing and teaching for another five years with long form improv group, Full Disclosure, and now Manatee Vanity, since moving to Knoxville.
Mark has traveled up and down the East Coast to perform in improv festivals in cities including Baltimore, Richmond, Atlanta, Nashville, Carrboro, Philadelphia, Gatlinburg, and New York City. He holds degrees in both Communications and Education.
